Have you ever heard of the Power Pose? It’s a simple strategy that will help reduce stress and boost your confidence!

The science to it. “High Power” Body Language are physical cues that impact our hormones relating to our confidence and anxiety, versus a “Low Power” body language that causes you to feel more stressed and anxious. When it comes to interviews, presentations, and speaking in front of others, stress and nerves could be detrimental. It seems like we do have a solution to this problem, and it starts with a pose! So how do you do this?

It seems simple, but mighty! You need to pose like you have power! Think of Superman and Wonder women. Don’t they look confident? Power poses give the feeling of open and expansive. The trick is to stand with your feet apart and your hands on your hips. Then have your chin lifted upward. We agree that this may be awkward to do in public, so give it a try in the bathroom right before a stressful situation or in the mornings when you first get up.
